AFL: Port Adelaide’s Jarman Impey Banned and Fined Over Car Crash

Port Adelaide has sanctioned defender Jarman Impey with a $5,000 fine and a one-match ban after he crashed his car into four parked vehicles on Saturday.

The 21-year-old was leaving a party, hosted by teammate Angus Monfries, when he crashed with the cars and fled. Fellow player Aidyn Johnson was also in the car.

Port found Impey after midnight, but did not report him to the police until Sunday morning.

Impey has been charged by the police with reckless driving and failure to report the collision. He is due to appear in court on a later date.

Port said Impey’s fine would be donated to the Brain Injury SA.
