Shane Flanagan, coach of the Cronulla Sharks believes the game could’ve ended a little differently had his side had taken “more care of the ball”. Overall, Flanagan isn’t too worried about the loss or the injury of his two players, Joseph Paolo and Chris Heighington who suffered a concussion.

The Sharks now have to wait for Sunday’s result at Leichhardt Oval whilst also devising a new plan and strategy to approach the next game. Flanagan reiterates that it wasn’t “their day” and it’s time to “move on and play in the semi-final next week”.
